Style of play

As a junior, Jabeur was coached by Nabil Mlika until she was thirteen. Jabeur started working with Bertrand Perret in February 2018.

Parret said about her: "I think he understands my game. He tries to improve my good shots, not change what I do. I've worked with a lot of coaches who tried to change my game... Bertrand encourages me to do dropshots and also corrects my dropshots, instead of other coaches who told me not to do dropshots at all."

Ons tries to use hard shots because that's how she likes to play tennis. She especially likes to use clipped and drooping strokes. Jabeur can hit winners in a variety of ways, including backhand shots from the baseline or forehands down the line. She likes to play on any surface.
