'Employees are People too', a chapter from the book describes the importance of empathy at the workplace and how it can help CEOs gain the trust of their employees.The underlying foundation for the Circle of Safety is 'Trust', and this circle of trust is crucial for our employees and team members to meet their maximum potential. A company that focuses on sustaining a culture free from internal dangers will reap many benefits such as low levels of stress & anxiety, fulfillment, reduced turnover, increased profits, and out-performing competitors.Empathy is crucial in the workplace because it helps leaders to understand the needs, concerns, and aspirations of their employees. It enables them to communicate effectively, build strong relationships, and create a work environment that is supportive and respectful. Empathy is also crucial in fostering diversity and inclusion, as it allows leaders to appreciate and value the differences among their employees and create a workplace that is welcoming to all.A proactive approach is very much needed to understand the needs and concerns of the employees. #DisruptHRFound the workshop extremely illumimating and left me with some spell bound effect. Ms.Arivoli Udhayakumar , the HR representative from RUBY FOODS LIMITED , shared her life experiences with the audience, and I found her talk to be very inspiring. Her personal anecdotes about overcoming challenges and persevering through difficult times were particularly moving. Mr. Muthukumaran S , the HR representative from Wipro, spoke at length about talent acquisition, and I found his talk to be very insightful. He shared best practices for identifying and attracting top talent, and his emphasis on the importance of building relationships with potential hires was particularly compelling.Mr. Lakshmi Narayan NJ , CEO of Build HR, orchestrated a very interactive session on teamwork, which I found to be particularly engaging.
